If you want to enjoy your stay in Gozo to the fullest, a car is a must. Although Gozo is a small island you can't go everywhere by walk as it is quite hilly and the warm temperature and shining sun will be working against you. As public transport leaves somewhat to be desired, the most convenient way to go around is either to hire a car or call a taxi.
